Why do I write?
To help my readers.

P.S. I know I haven't been faithful with replying to comments, but I am working on it. It's not that easy because I've dealt with hate before, and it took a toll on my mental health. I made the decision to prioritise my sense of safety, and I hope you respect that.

My niche is forbidden romance, and I've come to realise that I might be pushing some bad messages to my readership. I want to state that my books are works of fiction, and not to be applied to real life. 

I am also well aware that some aspects of some stories may be harmful, but I've decided to leave those stories up and focus on future stories instead because a major part of why social media is toxic is because people constantly show the prettiest side of things, and hide the ugly. I want people to come to my page and think "she is just like me, with skeletons in the closet". I have come to understand that I cannot escape from collateral damage in my pursuit to inspire, and this is the trade off I've settled on. 

I have also chosen to stop writing explicit content from now on (since 21 April 2025). I have fought with myself over this topic endlessly in the past. I told myself that it was alright since Song of Songs was erotica and part of the Bible. Research online gave me divided opinions and advice from close friends told me intercourse was natural and not sinful. To this day, I still don't know what is right, but I do know that as a Christian, you should not be doing something you are unsure of. 

The point is that progress is key, not perfection.
